Ages and Hours of Operation

AELC accepts children from 12 months to school age. Our kindergarten and before- and after-school program picks up children from Palmer and Carson Elementary Schools.

The center is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. We operate year-round and are closed only for major holidays and one week in August each year.

August 21, 2017–June 1, 2018

A $100 non-refundable registration fee is due upon enrollment per child.

  • Before and After School (Public School Attendees)
    We pick-up and drop-off at Carson and Palmer Elementary. Denver Public Schools holiday camp is open to all children attending area elementary schools.
  • Butterflies (4 yrs. by Dec. 1) Crickets (5 yrs.by Dec. 1)
    $900 per month due August 21, 2017 and then the first of the month October 2, 2017–May 1, 2018
  • Ladybugs (3 yrs. by Oct. 1)
    $900 per month due August 21, 2017 and then the first of the month October 2, 2017–May 1, 2018
  • Bumblebees (2 to 3 yrs.)
    $1,035 per month due August 21, 2017 and then the first of the month October 2, 2017–May 1, 2018
  • Fireflies Room (12 mo. to 2 ½ yrs.)
    $1,035 per month due August 21, 2017 and then the first of the month October 2, 2017–May 1, 2018
  • $550 per month, full-time before and after school
  • $422 per month, after school only
  • $380 per month, before school only
  • $28 per day for less than 5 days or drop-in (before and after school)
  • $24 per day for less than 5 days or drop-in (after school only or before school only)
  • Extended Care Rate (DPS non-contact days that Augustana is open for regular programming)
    • Full-time Students: $28 per day
    • Part-time Students: $38 per day

AELC does not enroll before and after school children for less than two days per week. There is no reduction in tuition if your child does not attend due to school functions or enrichment activities.

Holiday Camps

(Christmas break and spring break and DPS non-contact days)

  • $65 per day: Holiday Day Rate
  • $300 per week: Holiday Weekly Rate

Summer Camps

Augustana offers both preschool and school-aged summer camp programs. Current families receive enrollment preference. There is a $100 summer enrollment fee for all children participating in summer camp. Summer Enrollment begins February 1, 2018 (fee schedule posted in summer brochure).

Summer Explorers (Age: 5 yrs. by Oct. 1 through 5th grade)

  • $100 Activity/Registration Fee
  • $2,415 full summer
  • $290 individual weeks
  • $65 per day less than five days

Summer Adventures (Age: Toddlers through 5 yrs., Ladybugs and Butterflies)

  • $100 Activity/Registration Fee
  • $2,100 full-time summer only (3–5 yrs.)
  • $290 individual weeks
  • $65 summer day rate for less than five days

Summer is billed for the entire session and is based on the weeks that Denver Public Schools is off for summer.
