Christmas Eve Worship/Communion

You are invited to hear the Good News of Jesus’ birth, enjoy beautiful music, and sing Christmas carols together. Worship services Tuesday, December 24, will be at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Prelude music will begin 20 minutes prior to each of the services, and each service will have Holy Communion, carols, and candlelight. The 11 a.m. service will be less than an hour in length, perhaps making it an attractive time for both elders and those with very young children. Augustana Vocal Ensemble will sing at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Candlelighters and children’s and youth choirs will sing at 5 p.m., and Chancel Choir and Augustana Ringers provide special music at 7 p.m.

Livestreaming will be made available for the 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. services.

Festival of World Christmas Carols

Sunday Worship, December 29 at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Join us for a hymn festival of Christmas carols from around the world. To commemorate Augustana’s Swedish heritage, we’ll sing “I am So Glad Each Christmas Eve.” Additional hymns, both old and new, are French Canadian, Cameroonian, Chinese, Malaki, English, French, and more. Come and sing of the Good News of Christmas!
