ANXIETY – #worry#apprehensive#panic#angst#tension#fear
Health care professionals, teachers, parents, religious leaders, families, friends, etc. etc., have all seen the effects of today’s world exacerbate feelings of anxiety in our homes, schools, workplaces, faith communities, and neighborhoods. Pandemic, politics, war, inflation, injustices, and discriminations have all contributed to the rise in anxious behaviors. How can we manage for ourselves and our loved ones? \
YOU ARE INVITED to learn more about anxiety and experience some management techniques for adults and children.
On Mental Health Awareness Sunday, May 15, 9:15–10:15 a.m., Anna Paulson Room, learn ways to support and care for ourselves and one another led by presenter Kim Stromgren, MA LPC, a therapist at Maria Droste Counseling Center. Kim has mindfulness training in addition to adult & adolescent psychotherapy and trauma-informed care.
