We have savored the amazing liturgical art of Ken Phillips during Advent and Christmas. Now, Ken will be our “artist in residence” as we create a community art project for Easter. The art will be in the same medium as the Christmas art: fabric mosaic panels. Ken will create the design, and people of all ages will glue small fabric pieces to the backing cloth.

We are seeking Art Captains who will learn from Ken and then oversee art-making sessions. The Art Captain training session is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, noon to 1 p.m. in Rooms 6 and 7 (Fairfax entry Education Wing). Sign up on the worship slip, or email Pastor Kent. If you are not available February 2, the training will be recorded for viewing later.
