Dr. Kris Rizzotto, Organist

Join Augustana Arts and the Rocky Mountain Guild of Organists for our 2021–2022 season finale featuring organist, composer, and international recitalist Dr. Kris Rizzotto, next Sunday, May 8, 3 p.m. at Augustana.

Dr. Rizzotto is a Latvian Brazilian organist who is currently the Director of Music at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. They hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance from the American Organ Institute at the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Music in Organ Performance and Sacred Music from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Their first published composition, “Toccata,” was released in 2014 by Wayne Leupold Editions, and they now find success as a self-published composer.
