We hope you will join us for the 2019 Advent Service of Lessons & Carols, presented Saturday, November 30, 7 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, or Sunday, December 1, 3 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church.

For more than a decade now, the Canto Deo Chamber Choir has presented an Advent Service of Lessons & Carols to the greater Denver community. This very special, contemplative service is based on enduring sacred traditions, familiar carols, and words of comfort, hope, and joy. The Christian season of Advent offers us all the opportunity to quiet our hearts and still our anxious minds. In the midst of the divisive and angry voices we may hear all around us, this service allows us to reflect on the hope and good news of a better world. Traditional works by Sir David Willcocks, Eleanor Daley, Paul Manz, and Bob Chilcott are paired with new works by contemporary composers like Will Todd, Matthew Martin, and Ben Parry.
