CPR Skills Training Sessions

Augustana’s Health Ministry Team will be offering the CPR skills training sessions again this September. We encourage all ushers and church staff who are not CPR certified to attend.

The CPR skills training sessions are based on the American Heart Association Adult & Child CPR Anytime training resources. CPR Anytime allows anyone to master the basics of adult Hands-Only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child choking relief and general awareness of automated external defibrillators—or AEDs. These skills will help you feel more prepared to respond to medical emergencies and provide basic response until EMS arrives to provide more advanced care. This is a skills and information session where you will be able to practice on a mannequin. This will not be a full certification course.

Sessions will be held in the Anna Paulson Room.
