E4 Monthly Gatherings

The mission of E4 is to Enlighten, Encourage, Educate, and Empower individuals and families about mental health in a faith-based community.

Members and friends of Augustana are invited to gather on the second Thursdays of the month, 7 p.m., Ammerman Library. We will pray, study, learn, and plan action around mental illness and mental health for our congregation. This ministry will be in alignment with Augustana’s mission to Worship, Grow, and Go. We will study the ELCA’s social message around “The Body of Christ and Mental Illness” as well as review additional resources for faith communities. One resource is the newly published book, HELD, Showing Up for Each Other’s Mental Health by Barbara Meyers.
