Habitat for Humanity Augustana Volunteer Build

Mark your calendars for a special Augustana Volunteer Build Date with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. We are starting with six slots available for volunteering, but there may be more added later. Pastor Ann and I are both signing up, and we hope you’ll join us. Three interesting aspects of this build:

1. The same architects are working on our Dakota Avenue property.
2. Of the two homes being developed, the one on Stout Street uses a new Styrofoam form for concrete, to make for a sturdier, fire-preventive construction that also has excellent insulating properties to reduce energy costs.
3. We will be working on the second of the two homes the one on Champa Street that uses a regular wooden frame.
