Hiking/Walking Group Kick-off Meeting

Spring is coming—really—and it is time to begin planning for weekday hiking/walking outings. We will have a planning meeting at the Augustana on Thursday, March 23, at 10 a.m. in the Ammerman Library. We envision planning both moderately rigorous hikes and more leisurely walks at various state, county, or city parks. We need ideas on places of interest, dates and times, and methods of transportation. We will also ask for volunteers who will organize and lead hikes or walks. We will be sending emails to those who have shown an interest, but if you have not signed up yet, Augustana’s office at 303-388-4678 or by email for more information. Our events will be during the week, when on-site parking is less problematic. Although this is organized by the senior ministry group, it is open to people of all ages.
