Mental Health First Aid Training Course

Augustana’s E4 Mental Health Ministry is offering a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training course, Saturday, May 14, 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. in Augustana’s Anna Paulson Room, available for up to 30 people.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. It presents an overview of mental illness and substance use disorders in the U.S. and introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems. The course builds understanding of the impact of mental illness, and teaches ways to help.
