In-Person Outdoor Worship

Beginning Sunday, May 2, 2021, and continuing through August, you are invited to worship and to celebrate Holy Communion with our congregation in the tent in Augustana’s courtyard (between Fellowship Hall and the education wing).

Each service will be limited to 50 people at a time, and you must register to attend using the form below. Registrations will conclude at noon Saturday or when all seats are filled—whichever comes first. Please do not email individual staff members or call staff members at home or on their cell phones to register. Call Augustana’s office (303-388-4678) or use the link below, please.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Please bring your own lawn or camping chair. A limited number of chairs will be provided for those who aren’t able to bring one.
• Masks need to be worn by everyone 3 years and older for the entire time you are on the Augustana campus.
• Holy Communion will be celebrated every Sunday.
• Studies show that singing, even masked, can still present health risks, so for now, AVE and worship leaders will be the only ones singing during worship. With properly placed masks, however, worshipers may vocalize prayers and responses, and also hum to the music.
• An offering plate will be available as you enter and exit the courtyard.
