Palm Sunday, April 10
Worship at 8 a.m. in Christ Chapel and 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Augustana youth will host a breakfast in Fellowship Hall 9–10:30 a.m. Worship at 10:30 a.m. will be livestreamed. Nursery care will be available for both services.
You’re invited to process on Palm Sunday!
Calling all young and young at heart to participate in the palm procession on Palm Sunday. Please gather in the narthex on Sunday, April 10 at 10:15 a.m. to meet with Shanna VanderWel and to get your palms. The group will process in with the opening hymn.
Palm Sunday Breakfast
The youth invite you to their Palm Sunday breakfast/brunch on April 10, 9–10:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. The menu includes a variety of breakfast meat, eggs, fruit, pastries, juice, coffee and more! A freewill donation will be taken to support the many parts of Children, Youth and Family Ministry at Augustana. Please note that this time of food and fellowship will replace Sunday Lunch for this day.
Maundy Thursday, April 14
Worship at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Keith Williamson will be the cantor at 11 a.m. The evening service will include First Communion for some of the children in our congregation, and the Chancel Choir will sing. Nursery care and livestreaming available for 7 p.m. worship.
Good Friday, April 15
Spoken worship and hymns at noon, with Carol Garrington, cantor, and 7 p.m. worship in the sanctuary with special music by the Chancel Choir and the Augustana Vocal Ensemble. Both services will be livestreamed, and nursery care will be available at 7 p.m.
Easter Sunday, April 17
Worship at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary with Holy Communion, festival brass, timpani, choirs, handbells, organ, and Augustana’s Easter Garden. An Easter egg hunt will be held at 10:35 a.m. Worship at 9:30 a.m. will be livestreamed, and nursery care will be available across the morning.
Easter Egg Hunt
Children age birth through 5th grade are invited to an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday, April 17, at 10:35 a.m. in the courtyard. If we have inclement weather, we will move to the education building. Kids older than 5th grade are encouraged to arrive at 10 a.m. in the courtyard to help set up and hide the eggs.
