Field Trips and Hiking

Augustana’s 60+ Ministry Committee occasionally sponsors field trips around and about the Front Range and hiking day trips. Watch for these announcements in the Tower and weekly bulletins.

Bless the Years

Twice a year (usually in May and December), Augustana offers a shorter midweek worship service with Holy Communion in Augustana’s sanctuary followed by a catered luncheon in Fellowship Hall. Watch your mailbox for invitations to these events and/or invitations and notices in Augustana’s publications.

Helping Hands Ministry

Are you in need of some handiwork around the house? Perhaps some minor repairs or installing things like hand rails, light bulbs or smoke detectors? How about some general maintenance like raking leaves or shoveling snow? Moving heavy items? There’s a ministry called Helping Hands at Augustana, consisting of several members who are happy to help those in need, especially seniors, single-parent families or simply individuals challenged with doing the work themselves. If you would like to take advantage of this ministry’s service, please contact Julie MacDougall, Administer of Volunteer Ministry and Building Use, at 303-388-4678 ext. 104 or by email.
