Lutheran Men of Greater Denver
Lutheran Men of Greater Denver is a very long-standing group having begun in the mid to late 1940s. Lutheran men, both ELCA and Missouri Synods, from all across the metro area meet monthly for an early breakfast in Fellowship Hall at Augustana Lutheran Church. Breakfast meetings are the third Wednesday of each month beginning with coffee at 6:45 a.m. and breakfast at 7 a.m. This allows working men to leave for their work place by about 8:15 a.m. Each meeting includes a brief devotion.

The delicious meals are prepared by Augustana’s Judy Nyquist.  Annual dues are $25. Breakfasts are $5. First-timers are provided a free meal. Two special events are a spring luncheon and a holiday luncheon in December when spouses/friends are also invited and a special program is presented.

Each month features a speaker from the community. The goal of the group is to build understanding and knowledge about our faith and our community. The group also provides financial support to our three Lutheran youth camps: Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp, Lutheran Valley Retreat, and Lutheran Camps of the Rockies (Sky Ranch and Sleepy Owl).
