Senior Retreat
An annual three day (two night) retreat is scheduled in late September/early October each year for seniors at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains. One of our pastors is the retreat leader and several hours are set aside for relaxing, hiking reading or short sightseeing trips. The seniors travel by two vans. Monthly Senior Luncheon
On the third Thursday of each month (excluding July and August), a luncheon is scheduled in Augustana's Fellowship Hall at 11:30 a.m. Fellowship, a delicious lunch, and an entertaining or educational program is a monthly highlight for our seniors. Our seniors' friends and visitors are welcome. Reservations are made by calling Augustana's office (303-388-4678) by noon the Tuesday before the luncheon date.

Senior Elite Choir
Augustana's Senior Elite Choir rehearses every Friday morning at 9:15 a.m. from September through May. Seniors in the choir share love of music and enjoy Christian fellowship with each other. The choir sings once a month at 10:30 a.m. worship and occasionally sings at nursing homes and retirement living campuses as part of their outreach to the community. Local Senior Outings
Check our Current Events section, Augustana's newsletter, The Tower, or Augustana's bulletin announcements for information on outings to local venues such as the Cussler Museum or musicals at the Lakewood Cultural Center. The events usually include a meal at a restaurant, and seniors are encouraged to meet at Augustana's south parking lot to carpool or ride the church van.

Tri-R
Tri-R, originally started as a couples organization, has evolved into a social group that welcomes singles as well as couples. Tri-R stands for Religion, Recreation and Refreshments. The club meets monthly on the third Friday for a program, refreshments, or an occasional potluck. The club raises funds for church projects through the annual Christmas Bake Sale the first Saturday morning in December. They also host a recognition dinner for seniors in May every year and a Valentine banquet. Tri-R sponsors the Easter garden on Easter Sunday and delivers the lilies to home-centered members and friends. Contact Stella Miller (303-238-2329).

Gatherings at Senior Living Campuses
Quarterly gatherings of Augustana seniors and their friends are held at Dayton Place to provide community building between seniors, fellowship and information about church activities, etc. Contact Malise de Bree (303-388-4678 ext. 122).
