Augustana Youth Groups

Augustana Middle School Youth meet as part of their confirmation program from 9:15 - 10:15 every Sunday morning. During our Sunday morning events, youth share their weeks with one another, participate in an interactive bible lesson with music and games, look deeper into the bible lesson in Small groups as well as make plans for service projects and activities away from church. The confirmation curriculum we are using is FaithInkubators Head to the Heart program that involves students in family home devotions and service to others as part of their confirmation program.

Middle School youth interested in music are invited to sing with the Y-Hope choir made up of middle and high school students or the Handbell choir. For more musical opportunities please see the music pages of this website.

High School Youth

High School youth at Augustana gather weekly. On the first (and fifth, if there is one) Sunday we meet from 11:30 til 1:00 in the youth room. We get together to share our highs and lows, eat pizza, play games and participate in faith building activities. On weeks 2-4 we gather on Sunday evenings from 6:00 til 7:30. We also participate in activities in or away from the church that serve others and strengthen our faith.
