Each weekday begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 2 p.m. Every day includes break-out sessions in art, dance, drama, and music. On Sunday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. worship, we will present a musical.
The musical this year is Oh, Jonah! by Allen Pote and Carole McCann. This fantastic Bible story “is meant to be a whale of a good time for both performers and audience as the story of the prophet Jonah is brought to life with music, mime, and merry-making. It’s more than just a story about a whale swallowing a human. It’s a story about us. It’s a tale involving responsibility, repentance, listening for the word of God in our lives, accepting people who are different from us, and believing that there is mercy and compassion for all who turn toward God—serious thoughts, [especially these days] but told with a sense of humor and folicking fun.”
–Allen Pote and Carole McCann
Participants are expected to participate each day, culminating in the Sunday worship and presentation of the musical.
We need volunteers for help in art and drama, serving snacks, and moving kids from one class to another. If you or your teenager would like to sign up as a volunteer, please contact Cindy Lindeen-Martin at 303-388-4678 ext. 117 or by email for a volunteer form.
