“Buy the Farm”
Purchasing ELCA World Hunger’s Good Gifts farms during Advent is an annual Augustana tradition! Help a family break the cycle of hunger and poverty — for good. With eggs, milk and meat to eat and sell, and tools and training to increase the harvest, this gift can create a world of opportunity for a family living in poverty. Each “farm” costs $715, but your gift of any amount is welcome. Donations will be collected through Christmas Eve. Donate today!
Christmas Caroling
Saturday, December 6 | 9 a.m.
People of all ages and voices are invited for Christmas caroling. We’ll depart from the Anna Paulson Room at 9 a.m., sing for home-centered members and friends, and return at 11:30 a.m. for pizza lunch.

Advent Adventure
Sunday, December 7 | noon–2:30 p.m. | Fellowship Hall
This beloved, annual, cross generational event will feature a taco bar, crafts, live music, lefse, and fellowship. The youth will also be hosting a cake walk. Come for great seasonal fun for all ages!
CAN Ministry hosts Angel Tree
This December, Augustana’s Compassion and Action with Our Neighbor ministry hosts an Augustana Angel Tree. Starting at Advent Adventure, Sunday, December 7, visit Fellowship Hall, take an ornament off the tree and return the unwrapped item by Sunday, December 28. (Please deliver gift cards to Deacon Shanna or Amy King.

Augustana Christmas Concert
Friday, December 12 | 7 p.m. | Augustana’s Sanctuary
Celebrate the birthday of Jesus with festive music! The choir will sing, the handbells will ring, and a chamber orchestra will play selections of the season, some familiar, some new. Our special guest will be Hannah Tassler, flutist and daughter of our recently called pastor, Michael Tassler. The evening will conclude with a joyous Christmas carol sing-along. At about one hour in length, this free program is a family-friendly Christmas outing. Christmas cookie reception follows.
Your free will offering will benefit the music program at Augustana.

Augustana’s Christmas Eve worship schedule has changed! Please note the new times and the new schedule for choirs to sing.
Come and celebrate the good news of Jesus’ birth, enjoy beautiful music, and sing Christmas carols together. Prelude music will begin prior to each service. Candles will be lit by everyone during “Silent Night” at all services. Holy Communion for all. (Yes, even you.) Augustana welcomes adults and children of all ages, attributes, and abilities.
