Augustana Lutheran Church invites you to “Bless the Build” for Augustana Homes with the Augustana congregation and Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver as we offer a blessing for the construction process as well as the future families who will thrive in these homes. The blessing will begin in Augustana’s Sanctuary, including guest speaker Councilwoman Amanda Sawyer, and conclude downhill at the building site at the corner of Fairfax and Dakota with everyone welcome afterwards for refreshments.
Eight new homes will provide families the opportunity to purchase homes with affordable mortgages in a vibrant part of the city. Augustana Homes includes three and four-bedroom layouts with two bathrooms, as well as outdoor green space and dedicated parking. The land lease partnership between our church and Habitat Metro Denver is a piece in the much larger puzzle of affordable housing for families in Denver.
