Enjoy a silent movie accompanied by Andy on the Reuter organ!

Augustana Arts presents Safety Last! Sunday, November 19, 4 p.m., in the sanctuary. This 73-minute comedy stars silent film legend Harold Lloyd. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the film’s release in 1923. During the film, Andrew Peters will provide improvised organ accompaniment on the Reuter pipe organ. The film includes one of the most famous images from the silent-film era: Lloyd clutching the hands of a large clock while dangling outside a tall building above moving traffic.

The film presentation is part of this season of Augustana Arts. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time through Augustana Arts’ website (augustanaarts.org) or at the door. Ticket prices are under the new “pay what you choose” option, so you can choose any amount, or no amount, in order to attend.
