Compassion in Action with our Neighbors (CAN) Ministry

Sunday, May 22, Noon–1:30 p.m., Rooms 1–3

We will be meeting in May to review the plans and efforts to support refugees and discuss the process of assessing new initiatives. We will also begin discussions around funding and focus for 2023 while reviewing the progress of our ongoing initiatives. If you are unfamiliar with the CAN Ministry, it’s purpose is to lead the participation efforts of the congregation to benefit our local and global community including children and their families through partnerships with organizations especially focused on hunger, poverty, education, access to resources, immigration, creation care, criminal justice, and advocacy in public policy. All are welcome to join our next meeting and learn more about we CAN do together.
