Through the practice of yoga you can increase vitality, reduce stress, develop strength and endurance, and improve coordination and balance. Yoga is complementary to your other fitness activities. Yoga stretches and tones muscles, releases chronic tension, improves balance, helps circulation and energizes and refreshes your body. Other vital benefits include calming restless thoughts, cultivating concentration, supporting mental clarity and promoting self-awareness.
Robyn Lambert is a YogaFit Level 4 Yoga Teacher and teaches Hatha style yoga to students of all levels. Drop-ins are welcome. Until it is safe to return to meeting together at Augustana, classes are offered online through Zoom. Yoga class descriptions follow.

Fall Session: Mindfulness/Gentle Yoga
These classes are designed to foster deep relaxation and mind/body connection. Each class will include restorative and gentle yoga poses and stretches, beneficial yoga breathing practices, and mindfulness meditations. All abilities are welcome.

Classes will be held “live” at the times/days listed above. Classes will also be recorded. If you register for the session, you will receive the “live” link to the class you are signed up for AND you will also receive the “recorded” link for the class.
