Longest Night: A Service of Healing and Hope

Longest Night Worship

Wednesday, December 15, 6:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel

This half hour worship service offers space to reflect and acknowledge that the Christmas season can be difficult, perhaps especially this year. We have all experienced the trauma of the pandemic and its uncertainties, and many of us are weary.

The constant refrain on social media, television, and in stores about the happiness of the season, about getting together with family and friends, reminds many people of what they have lost or have never had. We need the space and time to acknowledge our sadness and struggle; we need to know that we are not alone.

Everyone is invited to this worship to experience prayers, scripture, and music that enfold us in the promise of Emmanuel, God With Us.
