Lent Begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18!
Worship/Communion at noon and 7 p.m., Sanctuary
The 40 days of Lent begin by remembering God’s presence in our fragile lives. Ashes are placed on our foreheads as we encounter our mortality, and as our hearts are turned towards God’s faithfulness.

Lenten Prayer Space
Wednesdays, February 25, March 4, 11, 18, and 25 | 7 a.m.–6:15 p.m.
Each Wednesday in Lent, Augustana’s main sanctuary will be open for quiet prayer and spiritual practice. You are invited to come and go throughout the day to experience a variety of opportunities, including a labyrinth and dedicated spaces for prayer and meditation. Some practices will remain each week, and new ones will be added along the way. Lent invites us to slow down, return to God, and grow more deeply rooted in faith. These Wednesdays offer space to become calmly centered in Christ and quietly strengthened for the rhythms and responsibilities of daily life.

Easter “Baskets” for Warren Village and First Step Families
Continuing Augustana’s over 25-year tradition of providing Easter baskets to Warren Village and First Step residents, Augustana members and friends may donate by check to Augustana (indicate “Warren Village baskets” in the memo line) or online at Augustana’s Giving page at augustanadenver.org by March 22. The residents prefer gift cards so they can do their own shopping. Augustana purchases King Soopers gift cards for $40 each, but any contribution is appreciated. There are 101 units for Warren Village and First Step single-parent families. Thrivent Action Team grants will provide $500 for additional food items. Thanks for your generous support!
Warren Village and First Step provide a safe apartment in two residential buildings, job training, and child care for low-income families whose parent is working, getting an education or both. Learn more about Warren Village at http://warrenvillage.org.
