Children, Youth and Family to collect canned breakfast food
In lieu of our traditional Palm Sunday Brunch this year, Augustana’s youth are inviting you to donate canned breakfast foods for Augustana’s Sanctuary Soup Shelf. Pop top cans are preferred. Suggestions of canned food include fruit, fish, vegetables, and pastas.
Bring your canned food donations to the west entrance of Augustana’s sanctuary outside of the narthex (Alameda Avenue and Elm Street), Saturday, March 6, 10–11 a.m. and Sunday, March 7, noon–1 p.m.
Easter Faith Boxes
Easter Faith Boxes will be available Saturday, March 6, 10–11 a.m. and Sunday, March 7, noon–1 p.m. outside of the narthex (Alameda Avenue and Elm Street). These boxes will include multiple Easter activities for households. This box will specifically include a project to make flowers to be returned as able to be displayed on the twig cross in the Augustana’s sanctuary.
