Summer Choir
Sundays, June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 | 9:45 a.m. | Anna Paulson Room
During June and July, you’re invited to rehearse an offering anthem with Augustana’s Summer Choir on Sunday morning and then sing it at 10:30 a.m. worship. This new ad hoc choral ensemble is open to all ages and anyone wishing to sing. Minister of Music and Organist Andy Peters will direct this ensemble each Sunday (with the exception of June 12), and we hope you will consider singing with us. We will meet 9:45–10:20 a.m. in the Anna Paulson Room and work on the music for that morning’s service.
There’s no need to reserve a spot; just show up for rehearsal. Families, spouses, partners, and friends of other singers are invited to sing in this group as a way to make music together.
Vacation Bible School/Day Camp
Kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in fall 2022 are invited to join staff from Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp, July 11–14, 2022, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., each day for music, games, worship, Bible stories, crafts and more! Cost will be $75 per person with a $150 family maximum.
S’more Fun and Worship in July
Wednesdays, July 6, 13, 20 and 27 | 6:30 p.m. | Quist Park
S’more Fun and Worship will be back this summer on July Wednesdays! All ages are invited to come to Augustana’s Quist park for a camp-style worship with s’mores starting at 6:30 p.m. Come early and/or stay late to play outside, converse with friends, or even pack a picnic to enjoy. While not necessary, you may want to bring a water bottle and lawn chair or blanket.
