It all begins at Holy Baptism! Baptism is God’s action by which God’s promises are graciously given to the baptized. Baptism is for all ages of people, and one of the most wonderful gifts in life.

Families are welcome to supervise their children in Augustana’s nursery at any time on Sundays as well as use the Cozy Corner in the sanctuary narthex if a change of scenery is needed during worship.

A different way to learn and explore Bible stories each Sunday! Students will rotate between teachers for science, music, theater, and arts & crafts.

During the final weeks of Lent, children and young people in third grade or older are invited to be a part of Augustana’s communion instruction. One parent or grandparent is asked to attend each class with their child. Students spend one evening painting their own chalice at Ceramics in the City, and the celebration of First Communion happens at 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday worship.

Kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall 2026 are invited to join staff from Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp for a July week of music, games, worship, Bible stories, crafts and more! Augustana hosts Day Camp Monday, June 29–July 2, 2026, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Cost is $80 per child with a maximum cost of $160 per family. Each camper will need to bring a nut- and peanut-free lunch and water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
